SWIM SPEED WORKOUT

So it's the off-season. And my weakest link is swimming. Swimming fast.

Sound familiar? Or want dozy speed workout? Here's what I did today:

WU: 200-100-200 combo on 1:30 interval, middle 100 fast

200 pull

10 x 50 on the :50 25 drill, 25 swim sprint

200 pull

5 x 200 on 3:00 hard

5 x 50 on the :50 25 drill, 25 swim sprint

10 x 50 on the minute sprints

5 x 50 on :50

5 x 50 on :40

15 x 100 on the 1:30 above race pace for 15-20 sec rest

5 x 100 on the 2:00 all out fastest possible

10 x 25 sprints on :30

3 x 500 on the 7:00 one swim, one pull w.paddles, one paddles no buoy

Total: 7,400
